Question: Why is Gary Simon’s “portfolio” filled with non-existant websites and companies? photonichealth.com, rcvids.com, cabinetrefinishings.com, csfriendship.org, screw.com, didji.org … not one of those sites is up or has any kind of believable splash page saying they’ll be up soon.
This is a common ploy of logo scam artists who create fake portfolios and then use a kit of premade logos to scam people out of there money. Seriously, $75 for a logo? Ray, I’d look into this a bit more before you continue this contest.

I ordered WebAppers Logo from GarySimon.net. And I was happy with the logo he designed which you can see at the current header of WebAppers. He delivered the logo in time and I think it looks quite good. That’s why I have contacted Gary this time. I would only recommend something nice to my readers…
And I do not mind the non-existance websites, I only care about the quality of the logos. :D

To respond to Billy’s comment – GarySimon.net has only been up for 2 months now and in order to get some initial work to stick in my portfolio (since a lot of my other logos weren’t available to be public), I offered a mess of free logos. Many of the people from whom I gave the free logos, requested them for sites they haven’t yet developed. So once my service ages a little bit, hopefully there will be more corresponding live sites. :)

Here’s a real challange: I would like a Custom Logo Design for MyDanishRoots.com, a non-profit, personal run, english language website about doing family history in Denmark, emigration, surnames and history. Online since 2001 in different designs, the site have had nearly 500.000 visitors since March 2005, with about 2000 registered users.
