ModalBox is a JavaScript technique for creating modern (Web 2.0-style) modal dialogs or even wizards (sequences of dialogs) without using conventional popups and page reloads. It’s inspired by Mac OS X modal dialogs. ModalBox is built with pure JavaScript and is very lightweight (10kb).

Requirements: Safari, Camino, Firefox 1+ and Internet Explorer 6+, Opera 8+

it is possible to play videos inside the dialog box or to display images? the demo shows how to create a form only!

You can display images within the dialog box, however, I think this one does not support videos. If you want to show videos within the dialog box, you should look at Lightweight Modal Window Supports Movie, SWF and PDF

I was looking for such a solution for implementation in one of my projects, all the other solutions like LightBox dsent provide features to sumit Form Content without leaving the page. Thanks for sharing this resource

Hi

i have a problem with modalbox, actually in IE 6.0 when modalbox appears, the scroller of page will disappear, i want to have same look as the mozilla, i want sroller to stay there.

can someone please help me with this?
i’m usind modal box 1.6.0.

Modalbox is working fine on ie7,firefox & crome. But it doesnt work on ie8.
