Just to let you know that all jQuery Tools demos work with my IE6.

The only thing is that those PNG images won’t look good. But people can obviously use JPG’s and GIF’s.

Dann: I agree with you and Oskar. But sadly, there is still a MASSIVE percentage of people who use IE6.. what a pitty.

The developer has said he wanted to start a separate library because he felt the design philosophy behind the other UI libraries was completely wrong, meaning they focus on desktop app features and are large and bloated. The need for small download sizes hasn’t gone anywhere, what with small netbooks and phones having browsers nowadays – and besides IE6, jQuery Tools works great on the iPhone browser.

It would be really nice if they could work with the jQuery UI team to create one single UI library so we don’t have all these UI libraries floating around…

It is too bad about PNG transparency support in IE6, that is the only thing about Expose that does not work.

Well this is a pretty unfortunate name, especially since the “other” TOOLS are their biggest competitors.

Never less, there are some interesting plugs in this toolkit (a toolkit for a toolkit)– I like the demo called Expose. Although I believe it won’t work in IE6.
