I’ve been looking for something like this for yonks (I’m sure it’s possible using Fireworks but I like the idea of a dedicated tool – especially if they’re considering building a community element to it). Thanks Ray.

Your own patterns created from this are for non-commercial only?! Why not just do it in photoshop yourself then…what’s with that.

Second on the licensing WTF. This is a nice interface to something people have been doing for AGES. The amount of functionality doesn’t jive with the restrictive non-commercial license at all.

    Thumbs down to repper…

@Justin & Rob: you are free to use your own creations for personal and commercial purposes alike. Any designs made by others (in the gallery) are free to use too, but only for personal use. More info about this on the repper homepage.

@Rob: indeed, the software is not unique, but we found other apps often cumbersome or way too expensive. So we made a super-simple interface that _anyone_ can use.

We are still developing the tool, so if you have any features that you would like to use, please tell us! We will do our best to get it in the next version.

    FYI:
The next version of Repper is out! New options include hexagonal patterns, saving your pattern as a Twitter background, sharing your designs with others and printing them on products.

Hope you enjoy it. Happy patterning!
