Nick La really has some great suggestions for fresh design inspiration. It’s easy to get “stuck” in a design process and create stale artwork. And so many brochure or poster inspiration websites are out there that it’s very tempting to always do a quick search online, resulting in the danger of simply recycling your own or other illustrations. This is why using your environment for inspiration is so brilliant. Even unusual places such as junkyards are excellent locations for taking a digital camera and capturing unique inspirational subjects.
