Your time is your product. Every minute you spend working that goes unaccounted for is like giving away your product for free. Tracking your time accurately is essential to staying profitable. In addition, knowing how much time you spend on past projects, can allow you to better estimate future projects.
It is really important for freelancers like us. Do you know how much time you spend in meetings? On the phone? Designing websites? Coding web applications? Keep track of anything with Klok’s simple work timer and visual display of how your days “fill up”. Klok is a personal time tracking Adobe’s AIR application which is free to download. It has since been downloaded over 90,000 times.
Requirements: AIR 1.0

I am currently using RescueTime but will give this a try and post a review on my blog. Thanks !
I tried Klok and I prefer Ora Time and Expense for Adobe Air.
I used to use RescueTime but I switch to FruitfulTime ProductivityMeter – much more feature rich + it’s offline!
Doesn’t Ora Time only work with Oracle? I need a standalone time tracker.
This would be a great application if it could interface with an online time tracking provider like BaseCamp.
I used this before and I really like it. Haven’t used the others before but will give them a try. It would be nice to have offline/online one and also has an iphone/android app integeration.
Klok is an amazing program, I’ve used it for a long time now. The UI is incredibly friendly, and it only took me a few minutes to figure everything out. I wrote a review on Klok from a self employed game developers perspective, give it a read if you get the time. Glad to see the developers getting the attention they deserve, they’ve worked hard on giving us a great, free program.
