I’m sorry you confused me with being “microsoftmonolithic-like” but we’re talking about an open source database that anyone can download. I guess I shouldn’t assume that the majority of people developing against such a freely available database are competent enough to know how to install it and use it locally for dev purposes…my bad.

And how is Mysql Administrator an old app??

@JL Smith: Really? Did you read it twice? This is a web application. MySQL GUI cannot be used everytime. What about hostings who offer only socket connections? Nothing. You gotta use what ya got, right? So please, do not be microsoftmonolithic-like and stop advertising your old app

Just be careful, I’ve had this program rename columns, and forget field values while editing data. Thankfully it was only on my dev server.
