Comments on: Windows Internet Explorer 8 for Web Developers

As A web developer who is heavily involved with client side javascript programming and AJAX interface design, I am very freightened as I watch Microsoft so heavliy push this Beta of IE8. If this trash receives public exceptance without being cleaned up, it could cost BILLIONS in web re-architecture across the industry. Please Microsoft, stick to w3c standards and Quit Trying to give us new features until you can implement the necessities proplerly!

just dont use it. at all.
it messed my computer up which i only got yesterday, and had to restore it to factory settings again,
it changes everything and nothing would open because of it, even troubleshooter!
just dont use it unless you really no what to do -)

I downloaded IE 8 beta yesterday afternoon, and almost immediately noticed that it was not displaying list-style-image at all in IE 8 mode. Worked fine in every other web browser and in IE 5-7. Just not in IE 8. It’s a beta though, and I’ve reported the problem to Microsoft. The rest of the site I tested with works fine.
