I love your site, Ray. It's been a great help and I've implemented either four or five of the resources that you've since I've been reading.

I'm interested in:
High quality ajaxxy APIs (scriptaculous, mootools, prototype)
time-saving plugins (calendars, date-pickers, all that good stuff.)
high quality graphics freebies
high quality frameworks (cake, etc)
stuff that I'm I wouldn't think to look for but that is useful to me (example: free legal contracts. Those are great!)

The key here is that it's high quality. A lot of the stuff you link is good, some of it isn't. For instance, the urban fonts seem pretty meh to me. So do some of the brush libraries, and the gratis duty-free image libraries. (If you come across free vector brush libraries, those are the best. You usually gotta pay for those, which is fine, but I'll take free ones if they're good).

For me personally, I think that your posts would be most valuable if you took the time to try out the stuff you are linking and to describe its special features and particular weaknesses. Better than that, if you take the time to compare to other tools that are available. For instance, someone mentioned symfony above, which I've never used. Now I have to spend a couple of hours reading about symfony to figure out how it compares to cake. I'd rather spend 10 minutes reading a comparison that someone else wrote.) In fact, I would be most interested in reading a blog that has fewer links but that thoroughly reviews the stuff that it does link. There's just so much STUFF on the web. I rely on my blogs to filter it out f
or me. The blogs I read every day get that way because I've decided I can rely on them to make choices for me - the don't spam me with thirty useless list posts every day. That's the good stuff in my book.

Thanks for a great site! I'm glad it's working out for you!

I was thinking of creating a section for wordpress plugins and cms stuff as well. I think it will be a right track. Thanks

I also am a daily reader of web appers. Great site! I really appreciate the posts that have items that will save me from having to do programming but are highly customizable, like flash components, ajax components and stuff thats easy to install that has dynamic functionality. It would be cool if you started a section for wordpress plugins or other cool open source cms stuff.

kudos,
Patrick

Thanks for finding all the good stuff that I'd try to track down myself if I had the time.

Keep up the good work!

This is also on my daily read list and has come in HUGE on two projects already (JQuery and heatmap). I can't get enough. Keep up the good work!

The biggest aspect I enjoy is that you don't post links to junk apps and resources, they are all quality. I would love for you to do the same for tutorials, there are so many bad code examples and tutorials out there.

I think your site is great and you guys are very responsive to user feedback. Maybe you could showcase some of the better tutorials that you find out there?
