I thought that FCKeditor was heavier and took longer to load than TinyMCE.

I also used it. It has nearly the same functionality like other commercial tools. Great!

it’s very powerful and useful BUT it doesn’t work with safari

is a good tool, the only drawback (as far as i know) being that it still uses FONT tags, not inline CSS
